Extension changelog

The browser extension has its own version line. For the whole product’s history, see the main changelog.

0.0.10 — Leaner permissions, store-ready

Changed

  • Asks for less — now uses the narrow activeTab permission instead of the broad tabs one. It can only read the page you clicked it on, nothing else. Better for your privacy and smoother for store review.

Fixed

  • Removed leftover testing code from the shipped extension (it only exists in development builds now), so the released version is as lean as possible.
  • Fixed the local-development URL override (it never actually worked before).

0.0.9 — A proper icon

Added

  • A real toolbar icon — the MightBuy M-monogram, at every size, replacing the old placeholder art.

0.0.8 — The MightBuy name

Changed

  • The extension's name and everything it shows now reads MightBuy (the camel-case brand), including its Chrome Web Store listing name.

0.0.7 — Confirmed working on the real site

Changed

  • Points at the live site (mightbuy.xyz) and was tested end-to-end saving a real product into a cloud shop.

0.0.6 — Saves without opening a tab (silent add)

Added

  • One-click saving, for real. Click the icon on a product page, hit save, and it goes straight into your cloud shop — no tab opens. You get a "Saved ✓" with an Undo button right in the popup. First time, you paste a token from your account once so it can save as you.

Removed

  • The old "open a tab to save" machinery (and the flaky "keep browsing" mode that could silently drop saves) — replaced entirely by the direct save.

0.0.5 — New logo, and a crash fix

Fixed

  • The popup no longer crashes on certain pages (a tab left over from before an update could throw an error; it now fails gracefully).

Changed

  • Adopted the new MightBuy logo in the popup.

0.0.4 — Renamed to Mightbuy

Changed

  • Renamed throughout as part of the maybuy → Mightbuy rebrand.

0.0.3 — Saves stay in your window

Fixed

  • Saves no longer vanish into a hidden window. Reusing the MightBuy tab is now scoped to your current window, so a save can't disappear into a minimised one.

0.0.2 — One tab, keep browsing

Added

  • Reuses a single MightBuy tab instead of stacking a new one on every save, with an option to keep browsing the page you're on.
  • Amazon capture via host adapters (buybox price + product ID from the live page).

0.0.1 — First build (MVP)

Added

  • The browser extension exists. One-click capture from any product page: reads the page's product data (JSON-LD → Open Graph → page scan), shows a preview, and hands it to your shop.
